SoccerEx Johannesburg

In November of 2007 Starflight Aviation headed to Johannesburg for SoccerEx 2007, the business convention for world football. The event was hosted by the Gauteng Province at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg from 26-28 November 2007.

Soccerex has moved from Dubai to South Africa for the next three years in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2010. A three-day programme of debate and discussion was run throughout the convention, involving an impressive array of talent; from the beautiful game's famous faces, to the world's most senior sport industry business executives. Clubs, federations and sponsors from all over the world convened to present their business ideas and commercial strategies to a global audience, while the workshops run by industry experts provided an invaluable insight into the game's most successful companies.

Starflight Aviation’s Sport division has been closely associated with Soccerex for the past two years, and are pleased to be linked throughout a spectrum of sporting organisations.
