Leicester Tigers are the 2009 Guinness Premiership champions after beating London Irish 10-9 at Twickenham

Starflight would like to congratulate the team on their success and are very pleased to be associated with their successful premiership run.

Match Summary:

Jordan Crane scored the only try of the game as Tigers twice came from behind to win a tense and closely-fought contest. Irish took a first minute lead through Peter Hewat's drop-goal while Delon Armitage added two long range penalties.

But Tigers struck back through Crane's try and a conversion and penalty from scrum-half Julien Dupuy to become Guinness Premiership champions for a second time in three years.
